    The Dream Symbolist is an independent reference site about dreams and their symbolism. Articles are written and maintained by the site's editorial team and published under the site's name rather than credited to an individual, because no one here holds a clinical qualification in sleep or psychology and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

    Our readings draw on three distinct sources, and we label which is which: Jungian and post-Jungian symbolic interpretation, contemporary sleep and dream research, and recorded folklore and cultural tradition. Where a page states something factual about sleep or psychology, it names the study or researcher behind it.

    We do not predict events, diagnose conditions, or give medical advice. Dreams here are treated as invitations to reflect, not verdicts about your life or your future.
